| LeonhartFour 12/27/17 1:32:01 PM #397: | I was a bit skeptical at first, honestly, but they sold me on it by the end of the movie. Plus, Mark Hamill's performance was brilliant. I mean, yeah, RotJ Luke and TLJ Luke feel like totally different characters, but it's also been 30 years and screwing up Leia's son would probably have some fairly traumatic effects on him. One of my favorite lines in the movie is when Luke's explaining what happened between him and Kylo to Rey and he says, "Leia trusted me...with her son," and you can hear Luke choking up as he says it.
