Topic	Sequel to Alien: Covenant cancelled by Fox

Instead of making bad movies trying to "recreate" the Alien magic, why not just "create" new great IP? Cause it's easier said than done. They never seemed to struggle before and now the lame sequels keep bombing, they can't use the "IT's easy money" excuse. Imagine if instead of making the original Alien they just made more Frankenstein movies over and over and over because it's "easier" Someone has to have an idea. Exactly. Aliens worked so well because it built on a solid foundation, but ultimately felt like its own movie as well.
