I can't imagine having the patience to spend a significant amount of time per day on a novel unless I was really invested in the plot. I'm mostly focusing on short stories and poetry right now. I do have about 20% of a YA novel but I couldn't really make the rest come together so I shelved it for now. I may not even return to it since it's just not really what I feel like I want to do right now.
