They literally have a well documented history of both working against, and refusing to do things if theyre required to treat gays as equals:

Now, they have been mum on it for awhile, but being a religious organization with a history, with new stories still surfacing occasionally... its not that hard to beleive theyre still against people they dont beleive should be alive due to their scripture.


There has been appropriate backlash to those incidents and it seems like they are turning things around. Honestly it seems like most of the incidents are caused by bad representatives actually not following SA policies.

They help 30 million poor people a year get food and shelter. The idea that some people want to vilify the entire organization or wont even consider making a dumb tweet to get an extra buck towards poor people is really sad to me.
