But the First Order wanted them to jump because it would've cost a significant amount of their remaining energy. They just weren't counting on the jump being aimed at them because it's not something that normally happens in battle. I dunno... but it was a phenomenal scene that I'm glad we got. Totally agree with the Holdo withholding her plan being really dumb. They knew Poe was brash (it's a whole thing at the beginning). She should have said something at the very least when they got held up. Or just slip in a line about a traitor... Toss out the light speed tracker, make it so the FO tracked a storm trooper implant in Finn.
