Not only did she refuse to even state that she had a plan, she was being an arse to anyone for asking. The story than attempts to push the message that "heroism is bad" with Poe "learning his lesson", but the actual message they push because of how the story is written is "blindly follow authority". --- The only fool bigger than the person who knows it all is the person who argues with him.
