My uncle got burned really, really bad by this. One of those things you expect to happen to someone else. He was in IT-- and he's a classy dude. Very polite, professional, and corrected his boss on something in private, not in front of anyone, about something IT related and presented an alternative solution as an idea. His boss basically hired a sneaky slut to come in and say she got a new dress in front of him and asked if he thought it looked nice. He nodded and kinda implied like "sure, yeah, whatever" and after 25 yrs of working for them, he was accused of sexual harassment and promptly fired. I trust him. He has a wife he's crazy about, 2 girls in college, and although his religion isn't my thing, Catholic. I have no reason to believe he wasn't being truthful when he told us what happened. Class act, nothing less. He got burned. --- Working in a team is great! It always helps to have someone else to blame. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
