Like the scene where "They even got in a scene about not eating meat" was a joke where Chewbacca was cooking those Porg things, and some of them were looking at him in shock with sad faces while he was about to eat, and he felt bad and lost his appetite. It's not a scene saying "Hey you should feel bad about eating meat". It was funny. I got the impression that it wanted the meat as well.
