They don't need Bortles to be great, they just need the opposing defense to be impatient. Rockies posted... I'd say three or four years, and that's if they progress pretty well through the minors. There have been guys who did it sooner but afaik it's pretty rare. So I wouldn't expect to see your Twins guy at all next season Yeah, it's super rare to see a prospect playing at 20, and even then, they rarely get more than a cup of coffee.
