Not once did she say or imply that she hated gay people. And because she tapped into age old homophobic propaganda to justify an irrational fear of working with actors whod done gay for pay. And, as a public figure, her words and actions carried weight. Because she didnt choose to keep it to herself, but broadcast her stupid offensive view across twitter, she hurt a lot of people. The whole driven to suicide angle is silly. Turn off the internet. If youre really that fragile, dont voice controversial statements on a platform with your name and face available.
