Wasn't sure how you could stand it up there. Anchorage. By Alaska standards, Anchorage is mildish I think. Further north like in Fairbanks, it is worse. The worst would be Barrow where the horror movie 30 Days of Night took place . Up there I think it's in their month of 24 hour darkness right now. Down here it just sun sets at like 4 currently I was hoping my brother in law was going to get stationed in Alaska. Because it would've gave me a excuse to drive fdrom Anchorage to Prudhoe Bay.
