...Well goddamn. Season 2 opened up with Soma kicking the ass of Alice who was basically the unbeatable girl with an even higher score than the master of curry who never got humbled in season 1. I thought she would be one of the final challenges but she got defeated round 1. That's pretty amazing. Season 2 is opening up on a good note.

I'm surprised you're surprised, since Soma won every match in S1. It's one of the things that made the series so boring.

Well, he did have a lower score than her during the prelims. I was more surprised that she was a first round matchup because I assumed they would first get warmed up on the more minor fodder like Hisako or even her own assistant Ryo

Does Erina ever get humbled? She's so smug it's unbearable. Pretty much every single other character has been humbled now, even the alumnis but not her and she deserves it the most.
