Turkey in general is like hyper chicken. It's all the good qualities of chicken, but with awesome extra flavor.

Ehh, I wouldn't quite say that. Turkey is a lot harder to cook, because it's so much bigger. You gotta really spend time with that thing. Brine it, baste it, maybe take it out to dinner. It's a process.

Of course, you can find turkey breast and what not at the supermarket nowadays, and that's just as easy to make as chicken. Just better tasting.


Lol what. If you brine it, you don't need to baste it.

Even so, turkey tastes great even without brine. I cooked a small turkey, around 11 lbs, last week. Didn't brine cuz I was lazy, didn't baste. Bird came out fine cuz I cooked it on a low heat for like 3 hours.

Brining def makes turkey even better, but it's not a requirement to make it good.
