Do you think a jury vote should be a majority decision rather than unanimous?

White Former Police Officer, Shannon Kepler from Oklahoma finally heard his fate today after being found guilty in his FOURTH TRIAL!!..He previously had THREE MISTRIALS but the cop's luck finally came to an end when a jury found him guilty of murdering his daughter's black boyfriend and he was sentenced to 15 YEARS in Prison!!

He was convictd in the 3rd degree manslaughter in the 2014 murder of 19 y/o Jeremy Lake. He was also issued a 15,000 fine in his sentencing.

Shannon was a 24 year police veteran who claimed he was trying to "protect" his daughter after he kicked her out of the house and was living in a "crime-ridden" neighborhood. He drove up to them when he saw them walking to his house and interrogated her on what she was doing there. When Jeremy reached out to shake his hand, that's when Shannon SHOT him and then fled in his vehicle. He did not turn himself in until the next morning. He maintained that Jeremy had a GUN and was defending himself but no Gun was found at the scene.

Lisa Kepler is the 18 y/o daughter at the centre of his who left homeless when her parents kicked her out. She volunteered at a homeless shelter and met Jeremy there who then stayed at his house

She said her father is a RACIST who didn't like the fact that she was dating a black kid.

In the 4 Mistrials, there was only ONE black juror seated in each of the trials and civil rights activists said his lawyers purposely tried to exclude potential black candidates.

Trial 1 had a 11-1 mistrial, Trial 2 had a 10-2 mistrial and Trial 3 had a 6-6 mistrial..

Oklahoma has a law that sets out minimum 4 years on his charge but no maxmimum term leaving up to the judge to decide..the Juror recommended a 15 year term and that's what the judge gave.

Do you think a verdict should be a majority decision rather than unanimous? let's see what people think
