Topic	I replaced my own toilet seat. Saved $250 on a plumber.
3_1_1_FTW 11/11/17 7:36:19 AM #1:	A friend brought her kid came over and he cracked the toilet seat while trying to use it. A plumber quoted $250 for the job excluding goods. Didn't feel like dropping $250 on something that wasn't my fault so I went to the hardware store and bought a $60 toilet seat and attempted DIY. Two hours later after cleaning and replacing and I'm dirty AF but it's all worth. The seat has a soft close lid so I won't have to worry about people slamming down seats again.
