There's an original, a reboot I think?, a bunch of ova's, a movie, and a sequel for this anime season? The Negima anime loosely follows the beginning of the manga. But it strays at the end and doesn't have the same thing to do with the manga. I watched one movie for it I think, but I'm not sure if the movie I watched was actually and OVA. And it had nothing to do with the manga. Basically I say just do this, Read the Negima manga, then read/watch UQ Holder. Looking it up quickly, it looks like the OVA is an arc from the manga but it's only 4 episodes long. But honestly, I really do advocate to reading the manga cause it really is just infinitely better than the anime. And I like both the story AND the gratuitous fan service!
