Hopefully no important information was compromised. They weren't hacked, actually. What happened was a thing called "DNS Hijacking" - from a security standpoint, it would be like, somebody seeing your pool in your backyard(i.e, it's literally nothing).. well it was still able to serve up malware to people for a bit so I wouldn't call it "literally nothing" this is correct though that it's not the same sort of hacking that's like, looking through internal databases, accessing user info/accounts, etc --- THIS IS WHAT I HATE A BOUT EVREY WEBSITE!!
