Odyssey is great and all but a Mario game will NEVER be a goty for me based on the things they lack My stance on that is story and characters are not unique to video games it's gameplay and that should be the only thing that counts when rating a game of the year is how fun is the gameplay interactive story is almost exclusive to video games.
