Disclaimer: Selfish "my team" rant. Not appropriate for /r/fantasyfootball, and everybody in my league hates me because I'm in first place while being 8th in PF. So I'm here to indulge myself.

I really like the looks of things for my team moving forward. I got a lot of dumb schedule luck for the first half of the season, which landed me in 1st with a one game lead, and now my team is poised to be legitimately good for the second half of the season.

Shady probably finishes the season as a top 3 RB. The Bills totally fixed their blocking scheme during the bye, and their schedule prior to the bye was tough in terms of rush defenses. He's also voiced frustration with himself over not producing enough. He's going to be playing with something to prove.

I spent my #2 waiver priority on Tyrod a few weeks ago, and it was mainly for Brady's bye week. But with the Bills cake rest of schedule, their solid defense, and Kelvin Benjamin boosting the passing/red zone game, there are probably going to be multiple weeks I end up sitting Brady in favor of him.

Speaking of Benjamin, he's on my roster as well. He's instantly their de facto red zone weapon, possibly sharing with a healthy Clay. But he should have at worst equal value compared to what he had in Carolina.

The dolphins traded their starting RB, which indicates they'll be at least somewhat more pass-heavy. Maybe not, but it likely doesn't mean they're running more often. After eight weeks, Jarvis Landry has more receptions than every player in the NFL not named Antonio Brown.

Just scooped up Bears D/ST from free agency. They are #8 in our league so far, and have one of the best playoff (weeks 14-16) schedules in the NFL. (Also have Lions)

Alex Collins.

The Patriots have a pretty tough strength of schedule in terms of passing from here on out. And even aside from that, James White has been very consistent. Tough pass D translates into leaning more heavily on pass catching backs.

Adam Thielen is an unsung champion. He's WR9 in my league with only one touchdown. Like Landry, he's never had below 5 catches in a game this season.

TLDR; my league hates me for having a lucky schedule, but come end of season I may very well have the most solid team of all. Solid floors are underrated.
