The terms of her parent's divorce were such that she spent most of her summers, Christmas, and various other long weekends with her father. During those periods we'd spend a lot of time together. Everyone could see that there was something special there. Things got progressively more awkward as we went from kids to teenagers to very nearly adults. She was turning into a very sharp young lady, and I was going down a very very dark path. She strongly disagreed with some of the life choices I was making, and I wasn't about to hear it from someone that had things relatively easy compared to me. Being around me was making her uncomfortable on a number of levels, and our interactions were getting more antagonistic. I took the hint and, gradually, stopped taking every single chance I could get to go visit her. I was 17-ish last time I saw her, I'm now 36 and I still think about her from time to time. --- This album is not available to the public. Even if it were, you wouldn't wanna listen to it! ...
