My family tried to be supportive at first, but honestly, they couldn't even pretend to care for more than a few weeks and absolutely nothing changed. I'm sure that was part of it, but I'm certain the diagnosis was accurate. The only reason I talked to my doctor about it was because it was getting unbearable. I refused medication for a few weeks, then I almost committed suicide and decided I should probably try medication.
