Always trying to figure out what that game is. Is it along the same lines as System Shock/Bioshock?

Yes. It's pretty similar.

You're stuck in a giant spaceship basically. There are enemies called Typhon around the place. You can find things called Neuromods that give your abilities that improve you character. You can also unlock Typhon Neuromods. They're a bit more sci-fi magical. You can transform into objects, use kinetic blasts etc. The cost here is that if you get too many Typhon abilities the ships security will start to recognize you as an enemy.

The game is really open. You can look for a keycard to open a door or you can find a small gap, transform into a cup and jump through it. You can find broken turrets and repair them to help you set up an ambush. But only if you have the right repair skills. There's a lot of stuff like that. You're rewarded for experimenting.

The game has a main plot to follow but as far as I know you can access places on the ship whenever you want if you find the right keycards or GUTS path. If you access Security Terminals you can even find a system that logs everyone who is still alive on the ship and you can mark a waypoint for them. No idea how many can be accessed easily.

You can also float around in space. It looks like everything is where it's supposed to be. It wouldn't surprise me if the interiors of the ship match the outside exactly and you can explore the entire thing.
