Isn't that a feature of any decent human being? Conservatives are generally thought of sexist/mysognistic. So while it's still a criminal and disgusting thing to do, the left often expects it from them. The left are often portrayed as the paragons of virtue when it comes to their treatment of women. They would never do something so heinous and uncouth as to sexually assault a woman. They're in the streets championing for womens rights and how women shouldn't be treated like meat. I don't think I've ever heard anyone - on the left or the right - claim that their political affiliation is immune to the evils of sexual assault.
