Topic	Are there any video games where you actually get hurt from a long fall to water?

I've suffocated in the floor and gotten caught on fire from lava that was below solid blocks before with server issues. Maybe they've patched those, though. In Minecraft you can normally take fall damage if the water isn't deep enough. However, IIRC if you just hold jump when you hit the water, even one block deep water can save you, no matter the fall height.
