I remember playing KOTOR though and it felt like Taris was the whole game for me. I reset my playthroughs frequently when I was younger for no good reason, so it took me like 3 or 4 playthroughs of that whole beginning sequence plus some Taris to finally get into the real game. To this day I still haven't even completed at least half of KOTOR.
