the two leads were good, and of course it was gonna jump the shark it was a superhero movie

in the same style as unbreakable, but it was just more on the nose

And I also don't like most Superhero movies, or at the very least their climax. Things like The Avengers and Man of Steel where the ending just becomes mindless action, GIANT BLUE SPACE LASER!!!, and omg literally the entire world is on the line right now! Which are stakes I can't get into because I can't suspend my disbelief to thinking there's any chance a movie, let alone one with planned sequels, would let the world get destroyed or whatever but I digress. Being a superhero movie doesn't excuse something becoming mind bogglingly stupid halfway through and throughout the climax, and getting a little dumb or absurd is one thing because it can still be done well/enjoyably, but Sleight wasn't even enjoyably dumb, just "holy shit how did anyone think this was a good idea and how did this get made?" dumb.

Again, saying it's racist not to like a shitty movie not only delegitimizes actual claims of racism, but is also extremely offensive to the movies with black cast that are actually good and have more more legs to stand on for why they're great.
