I live in NYC. Theatres cost $25 for iMAX for 1 adult. Don't know about kids prices. I usually buy matinee showings, which are $17. Plus I buy via the internet so that's $2.25 service fee. In total $19.44.

I live in Kansas City. Just showing up and buying a ticket is eleven or twelve bucks. All the crappy cheap theaters got bought out or disappeared.

Which is sad to be honest. You can say the same thing for shopping malls. When I was a kid, it was so much fun going to the mall cause there were so many people. Nowadays, everyone and their mother is buying stuff online. The malls are worse than going to a hollowed out Walmart.
I don't get online shopping for clothes though. I just don't want the hassle of returning stuff that doesn't fit me but since malls are closing and Macy is having fewer and fewer selection of clothes, really don't know what to do.
One time I went into Macys to get a hat. Nothing too fancy, just a hat. I walked through the whole Men's floor to find only 2 hats which were collecting dust. Target has more generic brands of clothing but who would want that.
Kind of a rant but I miss the late 90s days. Everything seems to be bright and business was booming all around. Nowadays, people are stuck in their phones and everything is god damn expensive.
