Topic	Can I take a second to gush about how cool Assault on Precinct 13 is?
EverDownward 10/14/17 2:45:45 AM #1:	The original, I mean. I know it's Carpenter's love letter to the Old West genre, and Rio Bravo in particular, but hot damn is it a cool ass movie. There's nothing terribly complex about the movie, but it doesn't need to be; the premise of two prisoners, a secretary, and a police sergeant being held under siege by a faceless gang of street thugs is such a simple idea but fuck me does it work. All of the main characters are 100% awesome. And that main score, holy shit.
