Isolated or not, this is factually the opposite of what the religion preaches, so it makes entirely no sense to sarcastically blame the religion when it is the man at fault here. Whether the religion calls for it or not, it obviously inspires this sort of mindset. Otherwise we wouldn't be seeing ignorant people like the one in that video over and over again. Would be nice if Christians would acknowledge the sort of hatefulness going on in their community and address it, but they never do. Rather, you see them banding together to try and take away their marriage rights in the defense of family values. :v When will Christians acknowledge the problem? Are we just supposed to keep pretending it isn't there? Why does Christianity churn out so many bigots? What is the cause of it? Many people DO address it. Just because you don't see something you're not even looking for, doesn't mean it is nonexistent. Many people call out idiots like this (hell I'm doing it now). And no, you are objectively wrong in blaming the religion in any way for people saying crazy things like this. It's like saying a large billion dollar corporation at fault because one lowly employee (not even remotely close to exec or anything of the like, I mean a low ranking near minimum wage employee) says something racist. It's absolutely ignorant as all hell to say "welp, that whole company must be racist" when he doesn't speak for even 0.001% of the company, let alone the policies the company instills in the employees to follow. It's not even worth reasoning with you if you are that willingly ignorant.
