The game seems to be completely unaware that every attack has a thirty minute wind up time.

Making Leon use Dark... uh... needles or something helps because it's guaranteed to hit and makes him stop but all he has to do.is get close to Leon and use the purple wave move and Leon is potroast, leaving him available to do whatever he wants unless against all odds Claude or Chisato manages to hit him.

Or alternatively, he can just cast Earthquake. There's no recovering from it.

I can't help feeling like all the level ups and skills in the world won't help me actually hit the guy.

But I keep grinding anyway. Party now in the mid 100's.

Hey, here's a thought, is there an item or something that reduces the time you have to wait between item uses? Earthquake wouldn't be more or less Game Over if I could use both a Resurrection Bottle and a blueberry before he could cast it a second time.
