Three or so years ago I went to a sleep clinic. Apparently have sleep apnea. Doctor was shocked because he said it's usually "heavy" or "older" men who suffer from this. They me on the mask and I gave up on that quick. It was excruciating and I couldn't do it at the time.

But it's getting worse and worse. Every morning I wake up gasping for air. If anyone is near me as I sleep they always waking me up saying I wasn't breathing.

I also constantly get sleep paralysis in which im conscious, but I can't move, and on top of that, I can't breath. Can you imagine how fun that is? Sitting there for a minute or so, aware of the situation? Pushing with all my will to fall off the bed so I wake up and breath?

And im so tired constantly. I don't know if this is an apnea thing. I do dream.. so I must be in REM, right?

I also find I stop breathing during the day. I don't know what this is. Does my brain simply forget?

Overall, miserable. Who else has apnea? Do you feel tired all the time? Any tips? Anything I could buy off Amazon to help? Or should I try CPAP again? Any input would be awesome.
