I have a friend who lives much closer and she was out and about and marveling at the soot and ash falling like death snow. Yeah it's very smokey today and the winds are pushing it further down. They said the air quality is reaching unhealthy levels so I've just been telling friends and family to try to stay inside until the ash and smoke subsides.
