hmmmm I suspect 1 issue is that you can't bump a topic until the topic is first archived, since the lfaqs archiver is what add people to the bump list and this is how that process goes (IIRC)

1) scanner opens board 8
2) scanner reads a row of the topic list and opens up the topic if it has a greater # of new posts
3) scanner reads post by post
..... 3a) if scanner reads a blocked user or message, skips to next post
..... 3b) if scanner reads a bump command, add to bump list
.......... 3ba) check if command poster's name is GTM or GuessMyUserName, if so add to list
.......... 3bb) check if name matches the name of the author in the Topic List database listing
..... 3c) add post to Post List database
4) add/update to Topic List database (so that the "# of posts" and "Last Post" values of the topic entry are up-to-date)
5) add next topics until end of topic list or reached 20 up to date topics

so the problem would be that, since the topic hasn't been added to the Topic List database yet in the very first scan, when the logger checks to see if their name matches, the topic isn't listed yet to match anything
