Give you some advice; sometimes you have to create the moment, not wait for it to turn up. In fact I'd say that's usually the case.
When you're walking her to her car and you're wondering when the right moment is, you should instead try thinking "ok, I'm going to stop her now". She wants to kiss you, it's not going to matter if you're a little clumsy or not that smooth about it. "The moment" doesn't have to be a big perfect thing where all the timing is right. It's just when you decide to step things up and make the move she's waiting for you to make.
Most of "the moment"s I've had were because I just decided I had enough of all the lingering looks and just decided to make a move. There wasn't a perfect place or a perfect line, I literally just stopped on the street and my body language told her what I was trying to do.
We're talking assertive, not pushy. But I'd say after 3 dates you're well past it being impolite.
That's actually some really solid advice. I'll keep that in mind next time!! I'm definitely going to kiss her next time I see her. ---
