You two sit sideways on the couch and Raven reclines against you as you go through the guide. "Here we are," you say. "Tom and Jerry." "No," Raven protests, "nothing for kids." "Tom and Jerry is not for kids, it's for the whole family," you say as you switch. CLANG Tom the cat swings an anchor and hits the black cat upside the head. "Wait, where's the mouse? Where's Jerry?" Raven asks. "Well, this is one of the many times Tom became more concerned with attracting a female cat," you say. "These usually don't go his way any better than when he tries to catch Jerry." Tom flexes his fake balloon muscles for the female cat, but notices Jerry munching celery from their picnic basket. Tom smacks him with the opposite lid. "Let's find something a bit more mature," she says. "How much more mature?" you ask. "Well, something more than Tom and Jerry," she says with a chuckle. "Alright, hold on," you say. You go back to skimming through the guide. "Here's something," you say as you change the channel. "No, you don't understand," a man says to someone off-camera. "You can't just do what you want whenever you want, you have to respect my life and the hours I keep. You can't just be up all night making a mess of things and then act like it doesn't matter, like it doesn't upset me. You have to learn to care about my feelings, not just yours!" The camera cuts to his cat as it stares at him while sitting on the desk. It then looks down at the pens on the desk and it bats them off and onto the floor. "No...!" the man says, frustrated. You and Raven laugh, and Raven even seems surprised she's laughing at the scene. The show continues, hands are shown pausing the video a la the internet, things exiting "full screen" mode so that the mouse can select another video. click click A selection is made. A young man and young woman are laughing at a bar, the setting is that of flirting at a singles' bar. "Wow, look at the time," the young man says as he sees the clock on the wall. "I should get going." "Aw, alright," the young woman playfully pouts. "Can I get your number?" "Y-Yeah!" the young man says, nervous but excited. He takes out a pen and writes on the napkin between them. "Here you go," he says as he hands her the napkin. She takes it with a bright smile, but then as she reads the number, her smile fades. "Are you serious?" she says. "Is this some kind of joke?" "What do you mean?" he asks. "I thought we were hitting it off!" she says. "Were you just messing with me?" "No, I wasn--" "Just leave me alone, you jerk!" she says before throws the napkin on the floor. "Gizelle, wait!" the young man says as she storms off. Confused and upset, the young man picks up his napkin. "Why did she get so upset over my number?" the young man says. The camera gets a look at the napkin and the phone number in question. `531-8008` You chortle into a regular laugh, but Raven seems puzzled. "I don't get it," she says. "What?" you say, calming down. "You don't?" She shakes her head "No".
