Duh. That's why people get fired for what they post on facebook. The Bill of Rights was specifically created to protect the people from the GOVERNMENT.

Now, if you punch someone for what they said, that isn't stifling their "free speech", that's committing battery. Free speech will not appear on any of your criminal charges, because you're not the government.

That's why you can stand next to a preacher with a megaphone and drown him out.

To be fair, that isn't really stifling someone's free speech. That is more creating a consequence for someones free speech. The person is still free to say whatever they want.
