Part of it was just because of hardware limitations, but I also didn't like the plot as much and the fact that a lot more places and activities were permanently blocked off after reaching certain points in the game. --- I'm sorry, but 10,000 of ANYTHING on a PS2 would absolutely destroy your framerate.
