Timeless myths actually empower him with the gift of legend, and just the hushed tones that speak of him herald a being of immense evil and even more stultifying magic. In a series that has always placed a premium on an economy of dialogue and exposition, Ganondorf uses the brevity of the Zelda style of narrative to great effect. Without overextending his stay on screen, just the brief tastes and hints have created a true main event heel.
