Which is an entirely different thing, and sort of my point. Saying "I'm not attracted to black people" is different than "I've never met a black person I was attracted to".


But it's just wording that makes the difference. IMO you can assume anyone who isn't attracted to such a large demographic, is automatically someone who hasn't seen the right person from that demographic.


I suppose you could, but you are still assuming that all other black people look like the ones you saw. I mean, it's just a minefield regardless. Why is it so much harder to say "I've never met a black person I was attracted to".


I agree with you, this would be so much easier if everyone didn't sound definitive. After all human beings are fickle creatures, we change our minds with the season. That's why I rely on assumptions, especially with something that covers an entire demographic.
