But it was calculated in response to our initial reactions of her. And over the course of her political appearances she developed a reputation of adaopting various hats for political convenience. Thing is, politicians do that all the time. We can google 'Bill Clinton black vote' for an excellent example of a time when it appeared to work. But where people were willing to accept the pantomimes of male politicians, Hillary has always been accused of being fake, mercenary, and assertive. She's a very tragic figure in that respect. She was never my first choice for President, but I admire her and what she had to go through in her public life.
