| Topic | So what was the first time your mind was blown when it came to video games? |
| Punnyz 09/01/17 12:56:50 PM #23: | Super Mario 64 absolutely shredded my mind with its true 3D movements and amazing sounds and music. I had only known mario going left and right, literally a new dimension to everything established I tried finding every excuse I could to go to walmart and play it SFII blew me away because I grew up an arcade kid and MAN those sprites were so huge and detailed. Every character was different, every stage and theme was different. And the fact that it promoted a competitive mindset among your fellow players. And that you had to put your own actual money on the line to test your skills made it all the more exhilarating. I might be a low key gambler OoT blew my mind because it was the most open ended game I had played at the time, it truly felt like anything could happen in that game and I had to find all of it FFVII's cinematics and story has always made an impression on me The only other time that comes to mind is when I played MGS2 I stayed up all night in bed after I beat it because it freaked me out, I guess I couldn't really fathom that ending --- ...
