Seriously though, you seem to be misunderstanding the fundamental problem of people who insist that slavery should be "gotten over" in some way because it is so far removed in our history are oblivious to the fact that monuments that glorify it are still around and idolized. Like the pyramids? We should certainly have conversations about removing the confederate statues. But you're not willing to have that conversation.
