wasn't the police murderer not affiliated with the group?

IIRC, the killer rebuked BLM for not being radical enough, and wasn't a part of the group because of it.

so idk if it's right to misattribute his actions to BLM.

The protest wasn't even organized by BLM. It was organized by a group called NGAN (the Next Generation Action Network) https://www.dallasnews.com/news/dallas-ambush/2016/07/08/organizers-deadly-rally-say-devastated-police-died.

And yes, the shooter was not affiliated with any of the groups and felt they weren't radical enough. It's hilarious how a soundbyte is supposed to say what the story is, but that soundbyte has literally nothing of substance in it and is just a fabricated story to get people like Rox and Admiral parroting their notions about BLM. Because, you know a radical black person speaks for all black people or the entirety or the organization, but a radical white person is just an isolated incident with no bearing on anyone else. They both should be considered the latter, but people who have no idea what the goal or the message is will only see what they look to see.

It's why those types latch to the idea of black protests being full of criminals and unruly people. That's just an echo of their thoughts on black people.
