I would say being the first owner of a Floridian Country Club to allow Blacks and Jews to be members completely cancels out his 70s fiasco. He didnt just tow the line, he was the FIRST.

Nevermind the huge list of pro-black things he has done.

I would say he allowed blacks into his country club because of incidents in his past that had him branded a racist. He was trying to shed that image.

Being coerced or strong-armed into doing something he doesn't want to do doesn't mean he's all of a sudden not a racist. He just wants a better public image to benefit himself and his interests.

He's not racist when it benefits him not to be racist.

No lol. The 1970s incident was literally completely forgotten about until his Presidential run. His allowance of blacks and jews into his club may have stemmed from some financial incentive but not from that.

Nevermind that the guy has been a dominant celebrity and entrepreneur for over 35 years. He has been in the public eye longer than most of us have been alive. There was no 'Trump is racist' sentiment during this time at all.
