People who see him for what he really is already did a long time ago. Where as his supporters will buy anything Trump says because Trump said it.
Thus the new status quo.
Idk his approval rating has slid pretty horrendously and weirdly almost immediately after he got elected, and I can't imagine this will do anything but drop it further.
If we see it linger around 25 percent or lower someone will drop an impeachment on his head.
But he's very good at just derailing and redirecting. Watch something happen with N.K this week that make people rally round him again or some shit.
The bad news is if anything is likely to happen it will be tomorrow (well today due to time zone differences). It is some independence holiday in North Korea, and they tend to fire off missiles places for maximum PATRIOTISM. Also South Korea and the US are holding some joint exercise which tends to make NK extra pouty and prone to doing dumb things.
The bad news is it is still Trump so maybe he'll bomb them anyway for fun.
The worst news is there is still no end in sight to the China/India standoff, two countries with actual impressive nuclear stockpiles. It's actually getting worse as both counties are now amassing troops along the disputed territory.
The worst thing is if those two go to war, I can envision Trump using that as an excuse to attack N.K while China's busy... and then well. Bad times. ---
