What's saint seiya? tl;dr it's Dragonball Z but not stupid Longform answer: It's a series about these warriors who train to tap into a certain energy inside of themselves called Cosmos which gives them superhuman fighting abilities, which is then amplified by the armor they wear. There are three tiers depending on level of mastery and armor. Bronze is the weakest, then Silver, then Gold. Above even Gold is "God" which is generally not an attainable status except for Gods. Every god has their own warriors, but the warriors and their armor have different names depending on the god they work for. Athena (the girl in the picture above) has Saints who use Cloths. Hades has Spectres who use Surplices. Poseidon has Marinas who use Scales. Anyway, the series follows around 5 Saints as they fight various people from all over the place, against Hades, Poseidon, and even other Saints with ideological differences. --- ...
