Every time my girlfriend brings her cat over I feel obligated to scrub everything down with Lysol wipes because of all the horrible brain eating, mind control diseases in cat feces. You're more likely to get toxoplasmosis from improperly handled or undercooked meat. Cats get it from live prey. You're unlikely to get it from a cat that lives indoors and doesn't encounter live vermin. Dogs will just walk through their feces and walk into your home. You can get worms from them.
