You bring up Caitlyn winning an arbitrary award, I can bring you up countless articles of trans folks facing violence. I'm not exactly sure the award cancels out the fear of being assaulted daily. I'd also argue that telling them they have a mental disorder when they just want to fix what they see as a problem so that they can be happy goes against that pursuit of happiness. All I'm saying is you can't make jump and say that the number is only that high because they are trans and no outside factors.
