Nah. I tend to not enjoy the company of ass-kissers, so if people try too hard to win me over it always backfires. Half of my male friends growing up were former enemies in one way or another. I respect strong-willed people more, even if we don't always agree on major issues. The criteria is different with female friends, but only because I rarely butt heads with any girls and I've had a brief crush on most of them at one point in time or another. I am kind of a hypocrite though, in the sense that I do know a bunch of women that are total doormats who just whine about their life and brush off any advice, and if I hadn't known them so long and grown to like them previously, I'd hate them and block all contact. They're good people though, all the same, it's just frustrating...

I'm a lot more blunt online than I am in person, but I don't think that's abnormal. I just place different value on the origins of my relationships and weigh them as such. I have no incentive to be a peacemaker on here, and it's more fun to just loosen the reins. It sounds unbelievable, but I actually make new friends very easily.

As far as relationship "likes" go, that's an obvious no... I mean, the heart wants what it wants. I've probably been burned as many times as I've had to burn others, and it always feels lousy no matter which end of it you're on, though it's clearly easier to be the heartbreaker than the heartbroken. Eventually everyone will find somebody they're compatible with unless they're extremely unlucky or offensive. The fact that I've had girls after me and then married one is proof that it can happen to anybody. Never surrender, but never settle <3
