I also know that they can't just stash him in the minors when better players are available, but if they get the depth back to be able to DFA him, would it really be that awful? It's the last year of his contract anyway and he has no trade value. I hope they give David Dahl their full confidence when he comes back (which may mean having to eschew CarGo), but I'm not sure they'll do that. I'm not sure when he'll be back though or how that all works.
